01 Aug WekFest Long Beach 2017 Part 1
So this is just a tad bit late. I only have myself to blame because I got way side tracked by a couple different things… mainly video games. If anyone plays FFXIV, holler!
But more seriously, WekFest tends to be one of the more fun events for us to attend. Not only is it currently one of the largest events, but it also to bring a lot of our friends and family together for a day o’fun! Car shows are some of the only places where a few of us still get to see each other. Outside of that, we’re so busy in our individual daily lives, it gets difficult to be able to spend any quality time with each other. So we’re very thankful for WekFest being able to bring so many of us together.
We had the pleasure of debuting Jays beautiful Aimgain equipped GT-R. We worked many late nights to put this car together and it was all worth it in the end. We test fitted and put the kit on, reworked the fenders to accommodate the bigger wheels and fenders, and installed all the air suspension to go along with it. We’re very proud of this car and I’m Jay is as well.
WekFest formula never changes and why should it? Some of the best cars from all around SoCal and sometimes even further out all come to enjoy the Cali weather. A chill vibe and great atmosphere. Nothing more could be asked for at a car show.
The quality of cars every year keeps growing and growing and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s at the point now that I feel sorry for the judges sometimes because the competition for each category gets tougher and tougher. Definitely glad I don’t have to worry about doing it. At the same time though, it does make it enjoyable walking around, taking pictures and enjoying what each car has brought to the table. Unique stylings, color choices that fits the owners style, even odd cars that don’t fit the norm all are available just walking around the venue. It’s an amazing time to be in the industry.
Part 2 will be coming up shortly. Enjoy the pictures!
