09 Mar Tokyo Auto Salon 2016

First and foremost let me say welcome back! It’s been quite a long time since we’ve done anything with this blog and now with it being 2016, we decided to finally put effort into this thing.

We still have a lot of things that we want to do, both with the blog and with the vlog that we’ll have on youtube, but we have to get started somewhere. So with that said, here’s some Tokyo Auto Salon Coverage for ya!

TAS for us is huge. It’s, in a nutshell, the SEMA of Japan. Tons of manufacturers and corporate company all converge under one massive building to display all their new products for the year. But really, primarily for myself, it’s all about seeing the amazing cars, especially the ones we don’t get here in the US. It really opens your eyes to what’s out there along with all the different styles. TAS brings along a little bit from each world. JDM, Euro, VIP/VIPstyle, Drift are well represented by all companies from all over japan. It’s especially nice getting to see some companies that have lasted ever since we first started getting into cars. Being able to speak to companies we’ve had a great relationship through email/phone in person makes the whole experience more humbling. And to even put a face to the name and being able to actually talk in person helps to grow the relationship between both parties even more.

TAS as a whole was an amazing experience that all of us had. Especially myself who hasn’t been to TAS since 2008. Getting to take pictures again in what some consider our “Mecca” was a blessing that many could only dream of. I had a blast walking up and down all the aisles, soaking up all that TAS has to offer both inside, as well as outside in the parking lot. Enough with my ramblings, enjoy the coverage!
