It’s…the…Remix!

Let’s just say that this weekend’s XDC/Remix show was… interesting to say the least. Lots of heat, lots of cars, lots of smokeless drifting and lots of nothing.  In general, Remix was fun because it gave us a chance to hang out with AF Fam and friends who came to the show as well as experience something new that would hopefully become a staple show we could go to now that HIN is gone. But, that’s not happening.

New car shows always bring something new to the plate. If they do it right, congrats to them. But if they do it wrong, there’s no telling what could possibly happen. The event was generally enjoyable. Models galore and cars aplenty. But in my honest opinion, Remix wasn’t that great when it came down to how things were run from beginning to the end. Lots of people and teams were upset how everything went down. For the most part, some cars did deserve the wins and a big congrats to those individuals. But there were A LOT of sketchy judging going on. It just didn’t seem that judges were all that knowledgeable in there selected fields and compared cars to each other in completely different categories and then go and say “I’m not comparing your car to there’s but…” when that’s EXACTLY what you just did. I could probably rant on this for awhile but I’m lazy.

I was hoping Remix was going to be something to look forward to each year as it sounded exciting enough to me. But unless they fix alot and I do mean alot of their issues, I don’t want to take part. I mean come on!! First show you should make it the best but once again it was proven wrong.  Its not like you guys just started doing this!  Come the fuck on!!! Thanks again for those that did show with us though, much love to you guys. Formula D/One-on-One show coming up in 3 weeks and I couldn’t be happier.
