Formula D One/One Event

Formula D has always had it’s drift event on lock. But the always questionable part was the car show section. It’s always been hit or miss on whether it was successful or if it was a complete flop. This year, I would call it a success. With the help of Fatlace, the event was a smash hit and it brought out the masses.

Tons of cars came out to support the show. Every car “culture” was on hand. The Honda crowd showed with some heavy hitters, VIP scene was represented greatly, and pretty much everything else in between was available. For being run by a group of people for the first time, they ran it fairly smoothly.

The only thing that the show can improve upon would be that they need to open up more categories for winners. Some people were a bit bitter by the fact that they didn’t have a class that they could compete fairly in. But, it being there first show, it’s a bit understandable. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and do a bit more research into how these events are run and I’m sure they will get it right at some point.

All in all, it was a blast. Good times seeing great friends and family alike. This show has brought us great opportunities that hopefully you guys will get to see in the future. Expect big things this year. Until then… deuces.
