Extreme Heat at Extreme Autofest San Diego!
July 29, 2009 by Special K
A San Diego show rarely happens in this day and age. SD used to be the premier spot for shows and we’d have more than what we do now. But out of all the shows that still come down to SD, Extreme Autofest is still holding it down and proving that SD can still hold events like no other. Just like last year, EAF has both an import show and a lowrider show in the same venue. It brings out a lot of unique cars that you would never see anywhere else. As always, AutoFashion was there to represent. Everyone was even rockin SD Autofashion Shirts!
In total we came out with 15 cars and of course our booth setup. We had Elroy aka Dj Rampage spinning throughout the day and we eventually had models at our booth thanks to the great people of Babe Blvd! We all had a blast though. Hanging out and just enjoying what the show has to offer. Our very own Kenny even got a special HAPPY BDAY from Misa Campo herself, lucky guy you.
Our cars didn’t compete this year, because we like to give others a chance sometimes (just kidding, geez.) But we just wanted to be able to enjoy the show for once instead of having to wait for judges the entire day and practically wasting the day away. Though… I did hear the judging was pretty bad this year (best import = suburban? What the deuce) It just felt better to not babysit the cars in the extreme heat.
I’m not sure what event we’ll be at next, but always check back for future installments. Thanks to Babe Blvd once again for providing models, happy birthday again cool guy Kenny and last but not least, thank you everyone who came to support us. We do what we can for you guys and we’re glad you show us love. Take care and until next time, deuces.
