Autofashion Invades SoCal Euro Meet SD!

Every year, Euros come out in droves to there big meets of the year. Bimmerfest, mfest, etc. always have a crazy amount of euro’s representing. But this time, San Diego gets a Euro Crowd favorite. The BIG SoCalEuro event has come around. Going 3 years strong now and starting with only 150 cars, yah only, it has grown into something special. So why are we talking about a ginormous euro event? Cause the AF Crew decided to come by and see what all the hubbub is about!

As soon as we pulled into Qualcomm Stadium around 11:30, we already see over 250+ cars already setup. I was literally astonished at the sheer amount of cars. This is the craziest thing I’ve seen. So many Euro’s in one big area was something you just had to witness yourself, unless of course you were there, then you already know. Just hearing about 100+ car caravans coming from various cities was amazing to me.

Since it was a meet and not a show, people were driving their cars up and down the aisles as they were either coming in to park or leaving the event. Some were even videoing the enter event from the car and doing “drive-bys.”  We of course did our own drive through the aisles, so we could get closer to the drift area *cough*. But hearing the comments as we drove by were awesome. I was hearing stuff like, “Damn that shits VIP” and “That’s all on you bro.” It was a nice feeling seeing these euro guys diggin us as we drove by.

Tons of coverage from the event are available on various euro sites as unfortunately, we forgot our main cameras and didn’t take much coverage. One day our meets could get as big as the euro ones, but it’ll be a long time before that happens. Fun times and enjoyable atmosphere made it a fun event and we were glad to come out and witness the insanity.
