AUTOFASHION INVADES HAWAII PART 1

So this year we decided to go to Hawaii for a car show and before the car show we had to do some tourist stuff before we do the car show.  So here is a break down of what we did at our time before we hit up the car show and after that isnt car realated.

So as we arrive in Oahu on Wednesday Aug 25th, 2010 and we were driving around Waikiki waiting on Robert and Yuri to roll into town.  As we wait there was a 711 right in front of us and since it was hot I decided to get a Slurpee and the infamous Masubi that everyone said we should get.  Its the same as whats on the main land but they swear its better.  So here im eating a sausage and egg masubi!  Yes its not a spam masubi and it was good.  After we get settled we all decided to get lunch and where do you get lunch?  Of course we ended up at a ZIPPY’s.

ZIPPY’s you ask?  Well its a spot in Hawaii that is just like a jollybee or like a ROBERTOS.  This spot has great chili that everyone loves and I think is famous for when people come back to Hawaii.  It was good and if anyone goes to Hawaii they should stop by one and eat there if they want good food for a good price!

After eating Zippy’s we decided to roll around and check out the beaches until it was time for us to check in our hotel at 3pm.  So we ended up at Waikiki beach for awhile and it was a nice sight to see!  Water was blue and beach was so clean.  Damn I miss this place just talking about it.

As we check into our hotel rooms we all decided to figure out what the hell we going to do.  We decided to hit up the bar by the pool and then walk around the strip and check out what Waikiki had to offer at night.

While walking the strip we saw that there was a surf  comp going on and came across this statue.  Didnt know what it was or what it ment but im sure it was something.

We also ended up at a few shops while were were out which was pretty nice.  Here we are in Celebrity circle hahaha! This concludes our Wednesday so lets go on to thursday.

Thursday Aug 26,2010:

So we wake up and decided to go to a Luau.  What Hawaii trip would be without a Luau?  But it started at 4 and we had time to killl so we wanted to check out the area again in the day time.  Robert asked the front desk where is there good to eat and that isnt tourist and more local.  The lady at the front desk said “BLAZIN STEAKS”.  So we decided to go there.  Worst choice of eating ever!  They said alot of locals eat here.  Find out these locals that eat here arnt even locals hahaha!  I dont think I would ever eat here again.  You would think island food would have so much flavors in their food and this place tasted like it had no flavor what so ever.  Dont go here if you want good food.

After the food and walking around again we got close to the time and now on to the Luau!!!! This was a luau called Germain’s.  It was a show and a buffet.  Everything was good about it and it was a great time.  If your out in Hawaii and its your first time you have to go to a Luau and Germains is one I would suggest!  Had a great time with the fam!

Friday Aug 27,2010:

So we did the Luau thing and decided we need to do some snorkeling in hawaii and that is a must!  So we ended up at Haunama Bay.  This spot was so beautiful and peaceful that I didnt even want to leave but we had to.  Sorry that this is the only picture we have and its off my cell.  This is another must if you come to Hawaii!

After the snorkeling we headed back to the hotel and after looking at fish all day made me want some sushi hahaha!  After we got back from Haunama we ended up meeting at the lobby and who do we see!  It was Arnell AKA DJA1! Thats right we all ended up in Hawaii!!! But after seeing Arnell he says guess who is here!  MOS DEF! So we ended up going into the lobby and there he was.  He didnt want to take pics so if you believe it or not he was there and was so chill.  Hawaii was getting better and better.  So after all that all the Falken guys had to set up for spocom and so we just chilled waiting for them to get finished and go out to get some sushi!  We ended up at the pool again and drank bomb ass margaritas!  I think the best drinks were at the hotel pool bar hands down.  So we ended up eating out at this place called Shokudo.  Really nice place with bomb ass food.  Another must if your out here.  Just make sure you make reservations because this place gets crowded.  After eating we ended up at Lotus bar/Club.  Interesting club with a bunch of FOBS so we left.  After walking out all you saw were hookers trying to pick up on any guy that had a hawaiian shirt on hahaha!  comedy.  Sorry again we didnt have the camera with us.

Saturday Aug 28,2010:

So before the show we decided to hit up the north shore for Shrimp Farms, Shrimp Trucks and the Dole plantation.  From 8am to 12pm this is all that happend and was another have to do when you come to hawaii!

First thing was Romys Shrimp farm!  This place is the shit when it came to the garlic shirmp!  Everyone swears by the truck but this place is the shit!

After Romys we went to the OG Giovonnis white shrimp truck.  Yes right after and ate more shirmp to see what the hype was all about!

After the shrimp cravings we ended up at the DOLE Plantation!  Didnt think that they had so much stuff with pinapple in it but they do.  They had so much pineapple in everything it made you hate pineapples for awhile hahaha.  The Pineapple icecream was the shit though!

After all this we rushed back to go to SPOCOM CAR SHOW!  Yes not alot of time but we made every min count! Coverage of Spocom will be up soon also! This section has nothing to do with spocom so if you looking for cars they arnt here.  I would like to keep going on and on about our time there but you can just check out the pictures and see everything we did.  I hope you enjoy the pictures and look out for the SPOCOM Coverage!!!!
