AF invades NorCal SpoCom

Who would’ve thought we’d be going to NorCal more than once a year. From never going for so long to going twice in the first 6months is crazy to me. We went up the first time this year for Wek’Fest and we went this time for Spocom, which was having its first of 3 events of the year in NorCal.

This time around, instead of the whole AF crew just mobbin up to San Mateo, it was Big Steve and I reppin for AF as the Revue show was happening on the same day. This was a big event, at least for us, as we debuted the redesign of Big Steve’s LS. It’s been a long time since anyone has seen it and I’ll be the first to say the wait was DEFINENTLY worth it. Seeing him drive around, dumped all gangsta, it was a sight to behold.

The show itself was long as roll-in was around 8am and we didn’t get out of there til maybe 11ish at night. It was a decent show to say the least. Coming from LB Spocom to this was a big difference as the venue was a bit smaller than I expected, but some events during the course of the day made it all worth it. First off, besides going up there to support Falken and check out the NorCal show scene, we went up there to win! We did expect Metal Sword trophies like the previous events along with cash prizes, but those ended up going to top honor cars, so were a bit bummed out on that. But the one thing that made up for all that was the Model FIGHT… I didn’t get to see. Yes there was a model fight and you can youtube it to find out what happened, but yah a model fight happened over some BS which I find hilarious. But, we did end up winning. Big Steve got 2nd place VIP and I received 1st place VIP and 2nd place lexus!

Though it was a long drive and kind of bitter about the trophies/cash prizes, it was fun. Spending time with fam and just being somewhere different was great. Until the next event, catch yah later!
